Former U.S Secretary of State Gen. Colin Powell to Headline October Event

Former U.S. Secretary of State General Colin L. Powell, USA (Ret) will be a headline speaker at this annual event sponsored by FireEye, Inc. (NASDAQ: FEYE), the leader in stopping today's advanced cyber attacks. Joining Powell as featured speakers will be David DeWalt, chairman of the board and CEO, FireEye and Kevin Mandia, president, FireEye.

The FireEye Cyber Defense Summit 2015, to be held at the Washington Hilton, is the sixth edition of the leading event, previously known as MIRcon. The Summit will bring together more than 2000 international business leaders and information security practitioners to focus on lessons and best practices across three main security tracks: Incident Response, Management, and FireEye Tales from the Trenches.

Summit discussion topics will range from breach case studies to threat intelligence, technology trends, incident response techniques, malware analysis and more. The event kicks off Oct. 11 and 12 with training sessions focused on topics such as "Malware Analysis Crash Course" and "Enterprise Incident Response." A welcome reception will be held on the evening of Oct. 12, followed by two days of Summit sessions on Oct. 13 and 14. The Code of Arms Reception will be held the evening of Oct. 13.
